Foreigner guitarist Mick Jones says he’s been diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease and is unable to perform with the band.

Jones opened up about the situation in a social media post on Wednesday, revealing that he was diagnosed “a number of years ago.”

Jones says he’s “still very much involved” with Foreigner, which is currently on its farewell tour.

He wrote “The important thing is to persevere with the loving support of my family, and remind myself of the wonderful career I’ve had in music.”
