Ace Frehley Covered A Song From A 22-Year-Old Jason Statham Movie

YouTube, @Ace Frehley.

Ace Frehley is famous for his cover songs – most notably “New York Groove” – but his latest cover comes from a surprising place.

“Life Of A Stranger” appears on Frehley’s new solo album 10,000 Volts. If it sounds familiar, perhaps you’re a fan of the 2002 Jason Statham movie The Transporter.

The original – by European artist Nadia – plays over the final credits, and Frehley says he “never forgot that song, even though it was done quite differently from the way I recorded it.”

10,000 Volts was released on Friday.
