One of the most iconic albums in rock history is finally getting its due from the Grammys.

Guns N’ Roses’ 1987 debut Appetite for Destruction was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame this week.

Believe it or not, Appetite was never nominated for a Grammy award – despite spending five weeks atop the Billboard 200 chart.

GN’R and the other inductees will be honored at the Grammy Hall of Fame Gala on May 21st.
