Five years ago, a team of scientific researchers concluded that the Queen song, “We Are The Champions,” was the catchiest song in the history of pop music, despite not hitting #1 on the charts in any major market.

Now, with Donald Trump blasting the song last night at the Republican National Convention in Cleveland, the song’s author, Freddie Mercury, is stirring in his dusty casket, and the song’s guitarist, Brian May is pissed!

“My personal reaction to Donald Trump using our music … We’d never give permission. Regardless of our views on Mr Trump’s platform, it has always been against our policy to allow Queen music to be used as a political campaigning tool.”
