The beloved bad boy hard rockers of GN’R have been set for a tour schedule that will put the group to the test. While they have years upon years of experience, time catches up with us all and we have recently seen this with the stepping down of AC/DC frontman Brian Johnson. Coincidentally, GN’R frontman Axl Rose stepped up to fill his shoes, yet the schedule that is currently set for GN’R stretches all the way to next year. It seems Rose is feeling invincible these days, taking on the duties of both AC/DC and GN’R. Let’s hope that the feeling of being super powered is mutual across the spectrum and that GNR will carry out a successful tour.
Production manager Dale ‘Opie’ Skjerseth spoke with Atlanta’s WXIA prior to their stop at the Georgia Dome, and from his perspective, GN’R’s live obligations are open-ended at this point. “I’ve been told there’s no end date,” he told the station. “I’ve seen plenty of dates going far into next year.”
