Piano Problems for Axl

What was once called “Not in This Lifetime” is about to happen tonight. The reunited classic lineup of Gun N’ Roses will take the stage at AT&T Park this evening sometime around 8pm. So far, the tour has been a success. No reported problems among the band members and few glitches during the shows. And, more telling, is the way Axl has shown up on time, avoided controversy and seems to be enjoying the tour as well as the fans who attend the concerts.

Last weekend in Houston could have been one of those moments where things went awry. A few minutes into the performance of “November Rain”, the piano which Axl was playing went bad. Strange noises came from the keyboards which caused Rose to say, “Stop!, What the f— was that?”

But then something even more strange occurred. Axl smiled, made a joke and continued the song.

The vive surrounding this tour has been spectacular. Let’s hope it continues through tonight and beyond.

Here’s the video from the mishap in Houston…
