In 1970 Aerosmith drummer Joey Kramer came up with the band’s name.

Imagine his surprise when he heard his bandmate Steven Tyler announcing that Aerosmith would be embarking on a farewell tour in 2017 without consulting anybody else in the group!

“As far as I know, there is no farewell tour,” Kramer said, adding, “It was something we were talking about, and (Steven) has a habit of projecting on things that haven’t been completed yet.”

While Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry appears to be on the same page, he did note earlier this year that, ”It’s getting to be about that time.”

Hey guys, before you get back in the saddle for that ride into the sunset, keep in mind that you owe us a Bone Bash from when the aforementioned Mr Tyler fell off stage, then cancelled our show and never re-scheduled!
