After 13 years, Ross decided to “retire” from 93X. Despite the numerous jokes and digs at his expense over the years, Ross has been an integral part of of the 93X family and we will miss him terribly. Listen below to Ra Ra Ra’s final show, or listen anywhere you get your podcasts.
After we found out that our phones are COVERED in bacteria, Scene Clean Jesus and Shesus pulled out their black light, and gave our studio a once-over. For the most part, it was a pretty clean place… Until we looked under the desk. Wowzers… Somebody had fun.

About a year ago Wappel from the 93X Half-Assed Morning Show was invited by local band EAON to be a part of their music video for their song 87 seconds. He’s now been vindicated because they made a teaser for their new music coming out with Wappel as the lead singer and you have to see the ending. Thank you to Ian Combs who produced the music at River Rocks Studio and of course Blayne, Kyle, and Evan in EAON. Every year, for us, the Christmas season doesn’t really start until we start hearing the Menard’s Christmas jingle… and we get our holiday car from local metal musicians, Impaler. We got that card yesterday. And, as always, they set the bar high for anyone else who wishes to send us a holiday greeting this festive year.

93X Half-Assed Morning Show member and KARE 11 News Anchor Randy Shaver crashed his golf cart into the pond at his 2019 Randy Shaver Golf Classic. Monday morning Randy Shaver was driving around the course with photojournalist Jason Steussy. They were shooting video of former Gophers football coach Glenn Mason when they jumped back into the cart. Randy Shaver had the wheels cranked to the right while parked and when they took off the cart drove right into the drink. Randy’s a great athlete, but one thing he can’t do is swim!

We were fortunate enough to do a one-on-one photoshoot with Ross’ pillow girlfriend, Leesa.
Today, in another edition of “Working with Wappel,” we sent him up to Blaine to pick up dog poop with Lindsay, the owner and operator of Turdy Jobs. She specializes in the removal of the fecal matter from dogs, cats, ferrets, turtles, and other animals. We thought this was a great oppor-poo-nity to get Wappel out into the workforce. He almost got poo in his mouth, almost dropped his phone in a turd, but had a pretty good time.
Wappel is out doing another edition of Working with Wappel, this time with the Eagan Police Department.
