The top country radio artists of 2017 have been announced in a yearly set of lists based on data tallied by Mediabase, which measures nationwide radio airplay on stations.

Blake Shelton has been identified as both the year’s most-played male and overall artist, based in large part on his two multi-week Number One hits “A Guy With a Girl” and “Every Time I Hear That Song.”

Maren Morris was the most-heard female artist of the year, scoring hits with “’80s Mercedes,” “I Could Use a Love Song” and her collaboration with Thomas Rhett, “Craving You.”
