LSUS is setting records this year, and today is the first day of classes for the Youree Drive University.  8,000 students are enrolled for the fall semester, and the school has seen an increase of incoming freshmen by 10 percent.  The school even has a new student success center to help the students gain employment when they graduate and to help with other issues.  Congratulations to LSUS for making Shreveport and Louisiana proud!  You can still attend classes if you missed enrollment.  There will be a 50 dollar late fee attached, but you can go to http://www.lsus.edu to get started on your college journey.
