So you’ve ghosted, crumbled, benched, and even roached.  You are up with all the latest dating trends.  Then jibing appears.  Have you jibed?  Are you in the process of jibing?  Are you jibe-curious?  Well, it is probably the most millennial way to meet people.  The term refers to using sites traditionally designed to sell goods or services for the purpose of meeting a romantic partner.  Both men and women are using Gumtree, Facebook Marketplace, or Airtasker to exchange goods or services for cash.  Some are finding that, through the product or service, they have a common interest and are in a common life situation.  Also, they already have your number, so they can skip that step and ask for a drink sometime.  It’s more of a natural state of life than in a speed-dating or bar situation.  Of course, there can be people who don’t read the signs and take your interest in money as an interest in them, so be careful when the jibes start coming your way.  Don’t do exchanges at home or in private until you have become very sure about who you are dealing with.  The great thing about jibing is you both can name your first child CRAIG, and it can be your little secret as to why.  For example: “We went with the name CRAIG, but we did make a LIST.”
