Blood Pressure Medications Could Cause Cancer. Click Here for Recall.

If you or someone you know take blood pressure medication, please read this: Several blood pressure medications have been recalled after exposure that could pose a cancer risk.

Torrent Pharmaceuticals Limited announced last week that it is expanding its recall for Losartan Potassium Tablets USP and Losartan Potassium / hydrochlorothiazide tablets, USP, after trace amounts of N-Methylnitrosobutyric acid (NMBA) was detected.  This acid has been known to cause cancer, so please read carefully and cease taking these medications.
