I was born and raised in Breaux Bridge… LOVE this place! Graduated from Teurlings then received my bachelors degree in Hospitality Management from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2006. GEAUX CAJUNS!! Worked all through College, and just after, at Hub City Diner on S. College… DEFINITELY good eats! And I highly recommend making a pit stop soon, best 3 way hamburger stake and chocolate shake you will ever have!:) I also worked a few years for Kenny Champagne Photography, great guy, fabulous work! Then, applied for the “Blind Date” that KXKC had back in 2006 for Brad Paisley’s ‘Time Well Wasted’ Tour with Carrie Underwood… They sent a girl and a guy on a ‘blind date’ for the show. Dinner, limo, front row, back stage the whole 9 yards… but, we had to be “blind folded” through the whole thing! How hilarious would that have been, and wouldn’t you know, I won! Had a great time! Cant say it worked out with my ‘blind date’… BUT, it did land me the job here! And, I am still truckin along! I thank Brad and Carrie everyday for coming this way and giving me the opportunity! LOVE what I do, LOVE country music, and LOVE talking! Perfect job eh? 

I welcomed an absolutely perfect baby girl into this world in December of 2009, Emalee Jeanne, and could not be more in love!! Funny how in love with your kids you can be huh? She is quite a character already! LOVES her Cajuns already!

I love cooking, anything and everything, usually while enjoying a good glass of wine, scrapbooking, spending time with Emalee and my family, lazy weekends, flannel pajamas, the color red, sushi, and my favorite movie of all time EVER, is The Wizard of Oz… hence my daughters name is Emalee:) We are die hard Cajun fans and go to as many events as we can. Football and Baseball being Emalee and I’s favorite though! I love music, all kids. From rock to folk to oldies, I listen to it all… there is a song for every mood! And I also love…GARY ALLAN. I love his music, I swear he has written the stories of my life! Meeting him was the second greatest moment of my life, next to Emalee being born of course! Only dislikes are: Feet, cottage cheese, white beans, and the sound of Stevie Nicks’ voice! The End! Anything else, just ask! Thanks for listening PROUD to 99.1KXKC!!!!
