Kenny Chesney has revealed that he has just finished the final edit of his first book, Heart Life Music, which is set for release on November 4 via William Morrow, an imprint of HarperCollins Publishers. Rather than a traditional autobiography, the book offers a vivid collection of personal snapshots and reflections spanning his journey since moving to Nashville in 1991, capturing the spirit and stories behind his music and life. “I really wanted to send a love letter to all the places and characters along the way that made this journey such an incredible ride,” Chesney says of the book. “When I look back, I can’t believe the people I’ve met, the stories I’ve heard and the music I’ve been able to hear from songwriters, other artists, as well as all the songs I’ve been fortunate enough to cut. And now, finally, my co-writer Holly Gleason and I can exhale – knowing the book truly is done.” (Holler)
