Lukas Nelson and his legendary father, Willie Nelson, are both nominated for Best Traditional Country Album at the 2026 Grammys, with Lukas’s younger brother, Micah, also earning a nod for producing their dad’s album, Last Leaf on the Tree, which is nominated for Best Americana Album. “That makes Dad real proud, and that makes me real happy,” Lukas says, while insisting there isn’t any competition among the family members at the upcoming Grammys. “There’s no rivalry at all. Me and him joined teams, so we got a 40 percent chance. A win for anyone in that group [is a win for me],” Lukas says of being nominated alongside his dad, whose Oh What a Beautiful World is up for Best Traditional Country Album.
