Riley Green is currently riding high with his Billboard Country Airplay No. 1 hit, “Worst Way,” but the 36-year-old country star admits in a new interview with CMT that writing love songs is outside his comfort zone. “It’s not really my thing,” Green says of making romantic ballads, though the chart success of his current single might cause him to change his mind. “I’m afraid I’m going to have to write more love songs now,” Green says with a smile. “Now I think I’m stuck. I think I’m going to have to have at least one of those on every record.” Green’s romantic hit has sparked possible dating rumors involving Megan Moroney and Ella Langley, whom he collaborated with on the chart-topping, multiple award-winning 2024 hit, “You Look Like You Love Me,” though all parties involved deny any romantic links between the country stars.
