A Lexington man confronted and ran off two armed teens who broke into his home while chasing a third teen Sunday night. Police say the two teen suspects were chasing the third teenager in the Mt. Tabor Road area around 11:30 p.m. One suspect was armed with a sword and a club, the second with a gun. The fleeing teen ran into a neighbor's home along Point Court seeking shelter. Police say the two suspects broke down the front door of the home to follow the victim inside. The man who lives there confronted the two teens, and they ran to a car and took off. Officers say they found one of the suspects, and he admitted pitching the gun. Police say the teen they caught will face charges, and officers continue the search for the second suspect.
