Georgetown Police Make Arrest After Armed Robbery

Georgetown police quickly made an arrest after an armed robbery at a gas station Tuesday night.

Police say a masked man walked into the Showalter Shell on South Broadway around 11 p.m., showed a gun and stole cash. Police rushed to the area, and an officer pulled over a suspicious SUV about a block away.  Officers say the man driving the SUV matched the description of the robbery suspect and had a mask like the one used in the holdup. Police say they also found the gun they think the man used in the robbery.
