Police Search for Robber

A carjacking in Winchester, a robbery in Lexington and a man considered armed and dangerous on the run. That's what law enforcement in two counties are dealing with.Police said at around 4:15 p.m. Wednesday afternoon the man robbed the First Security Bank on Sir Barton Way in Lexington, however before that, he went to a Walmart in Winchester and carjacked a woman. Police said at around 2:30 p.m. the woman was walking from the store to her car in the parking lot, when the man came up behind her, pointed a gun and demanded her keys. After the carjacking the man took off in the  Kia Rio  toward Lexington. At First Security Bank, the man handed a teller a note, demanded cash, then ran. The stolen car was later found in a parking lot near the Hamburg shopping center. Now police ask people to keep a sharp eye out for a man in his 50's with a goatee, wearing a dark shirt and jeans.  Lexington Police, Winchester Police and the FBI are all working on the case.
