Lexington police continue to search for the man who stabbed a woman early Tuesday morning. Police say a woman and her boyfriend were walking near Bryan Station Road and New Circle just before 1 a.m. when a car stopped near them and a man got out. She told officers the man tried to rob her and when she resisted, he stabbed her. Officers say the victim suffered stab wounds to her leg and neck, and ran to the nearby White Castle restaurant for help, while her boyfriend chased the car.  EMS took the woman to UK Hospital. Officials described her injuries as non-life threatening. Police did not release any information about the suspect.
