(LFUCG)–The city’s Division of Traffic Engineering will begin decommissioning the traffic signal at North Upper and West Fifth and the signal at North Upper and West Sixth about 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 2, weather permitting.

Stop signs will be installed at those intersections, and the existing signals will remain in all-red, flash mode for 90 days while travelers become familiar with the change.
