WVLK Congratulates:

Centre College Distinguished Alumni:  William Smock, William Meriwether, Jane Blair Skidmore and Benjamin Beaton.

New members of the Centre College Athletics Hall of Fame:  William Botts, Jr., Jeff O. Floyd, Sarah Green-Robinson and Steve Lubbe.

The Tates Creek drama students who performed “Mary Stuart” and took first place in the Central Region of the Kentucky Theatre Association’s High School Festival.  A SCAPA group from Lafayette was runner-up and Paul Laurence Dunbar was third.  All three advance to the state competition later this month.

Anne Boggess of Henry Clay High School, named National Female Youth Leader of the Year, and Zsombor Gal as National Male Youth Leader of the Year by the National Council on Youth Leadership and Washington University in St. Louis.
