Aisha Ndayishimiye of the STEAM Academy in Lexington, recipient of a 2017 Outstanding Youth in Philanthropy Award from the Association of Fundraising Professionals. She was given the award for her efforts with a “Backpack Payback” project benefiting youngsters in her native East Africa.
