WVLK congratulates:

Aisha Ndayishimiye of the STEAM Academy in Lexington, recipient of a 2017 Outstanding Youth in Philanthropy Award from the Association of Fundraising Professionals.  She was given the award for her efforts with a “Backpack Payback” project benefiting youngsters in her native East Africa.

Jonathan Keefe of Lexington, appointed to the Kentucky Applied Behavior Analysis Licensing Board.

Bill Farmer, president/CEO of United Way of the Bluegrass, Elizabeth Anne Combs and Gary D. McCollum, all of Lexington.  They’ve been appointed to the Kentucky Commission on Community Volunteerism and Service.
