Ebony G. Patterson, multimedia artist and associate professor of painting at the University of Kentucky School of Art and Visual Studies. She was awarded the Stone and DeGuire Contemporary Art Award from the Sam Fox School of Design and Visual Art.
Steven Shannon of Lexington, appointed to the Kentucky Commission on Services and Supports for Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities and Other Developmental Disabilities.
Chad Risko, assistant pofessor of chemistry at the University of Kentucky has been selected to receive a 2018 Office of Naval Research Young Investigator Award. Risko is one of 31 academic scientists to receive the honor.
Tyler May, Joseph Back and Joy Gilfillan, senior finance majors at the University of Kentucky Gatton College of Business and Economis, who received the grand price at this year’s national stock pitch competition.
