A man suffered a gunshot wound to the arm in Lexington early Wednesday morning, but it remains unclear how or where it happened.
Police responded to Maple Avenue, near Seventh Street, just before 1:30 a.m. and found a man with a gunshot wound to the forearm. Officers say the 31-year old was drunk at the time and said he didn't see or hear anything. Police say two officers were in the area on a traffic stop and didn't hear anything either, so they have no idea where the shot was fired.
EMS took the victim to UK Hospital for treatment.
