Twins Waive Charges to Grand Jury

Elderly twins charged with child pornography have waived a second set of charges to the grand jury. According to police, officers charged Jack and Jerry Cassidy with child porn charges after they found hundreds of photos of young boys tied up, naked and kissing each other in the 76-year-olds' home. After further investigation, police filed additional charges of sodomy, and indecent and immoral practices with another. Police say they also found journals documenting the abuse. Investigators say there were records of practically every young boy in their Boy Scout Troop, including birth dates and a timeline. Investigators say there was a "poem book" about each child and two books containing logs of sexual abuse. Investigators described the records as "trophies." Jack and Jerry Cassidy stand accused of abusing children, mainly boy ages 8 to 15, from 1963 to 1985. During Thursday's hearing, the twins waived the additional charges to the grand jury.
