For the second time this week, a Lexington Courtyard Marriott hotel was the target of a robbery.  Police say a man wearing a red, white and blue mask walked up to the front desk of the Courtyard Marriott just off Newtown Pike and New Circle Road around 11 p.m. Thursday. The robber implied he had a weapon and got away with cash from the register The clerk wasn't hurt.

On Tuesday night, a man wearing a Halloween mask robbed the Courtyard Marriott location on Wall Street, in the Beaumont Centre. The suspect in that robbery also implied he had a weapon and got away with cash. Police say they can't confirm that the same man robbed both hotels, but they say there were definitely similarities between the two crimes and the descriptions of the suspect.
