A Madison County homeowner sent two intruders to the hospital overnight after beating them with their own guns. Chris Caldwell says he was still awake inside his Richmond home around 12:30 a.m. Tuesday when two masked men broke in through his side door. He says he saw one of the men was armed, so he fought back, even beating them with their own gun at one point. When officers arrived, they found the men beaten and bleeding. One had to be wheeled from the home, and the other was able to walk to the ambulance.
