Three Arrested in Robbery

Police arrested three men after a robbery and a chase Thursday night. Police say three masked men walked into the Taco Bell at Russell Cave and New Circle Roads around 8 p.m. The trio threw around food trays and demanded cash. The employees complied and handed over money, and the three suspects took off in a white getaway car. A short time later, officers spotted that car speeding down Loudon Avenue. Police eventually stopped the vehicle at the Lexmark entrance off Newtown Pike. The suspects ran. Officers caught one man after he took off toward the nearby Sunoco gas station. Police arrested the other two suspects at the YMCA on Loudon Avenue. Officials have not released the suspects' names, but say they all face robbery charges. Nobody was hurt. Police say a cruiser wrecked along Loudon Avenue during the chase. The officer was not hurt in that crash.
