Three people face charges after Kentucky State Police troopers chased down a car with an active meth lab inside in Georgetown Tuesday night. Police say troopers tried to make routine traffic stop on a Ford Focus near the Waffle House on Outlet Center Drive, but the driver took off. The fleeing vehicle hit a police cruiser before crashing into a ditch. The driver tried to run, but troopers chased him down. Officials say troopers discovered an active meth lab inside the vehicle. Troopers took three men inside the vehicle into custody. The trio went through a decontamination process and were taken to a local hospital for observation. All three men will face multiple charges. Nobody was injured during the chase.
