Unemployment Down in Most KY Counties

(Education and Workforce Development Cabinet)–Unemployment rates fell in 117 Kentucky counties, stayed the same in two (Estill and Hickman counties) and rose in one county (Bath County) between December 2016 and December 2017, according to the Kentucky Center for Education and Workforce Statistics. Two Dead in School Shooting

A student opened fire Tuesday morning at Marshall County High School killing two fellow students and injuring 17 others. Marshall County Sheriff’s deputies apprehended the 15-year-old male suspect and said no one else was immediately suspected in the crime. Gov.
