Traffic Lights Coming Down

(LFUCG)–The city’s Division of Traffic Engineering will begin decommissioning the traffic signal at North Upper and West Fifth and the signal at North Upper and West Sixth about 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 2, weather permitting. City Opens Cooling Centers

(LFUCG)–With temperatures expected to be in the mid-90s, and the heat index well over 100 degrees this week, Lexington officials plan to open multiple cooling centers. Waste Collection in Lexington to Change for Heat

(LFUCG)-The high temperatures forecast for the next few days are prompting the City to start its regular waste collection schedule earlier on Thursday, July 20, and Friday, July 21.
