I always direct newcomers in the global warming arena to begin by reading Michael Crichton’s book, “State of Fear,†not so much for the story but for all the research included in its pages. Especially valuable is the bibliography which links to many official scientific reports on climate. Warning to listeners: This will take you more than a month to complete but if you truly want to educate yourself on the topic, you need to put in the time (otherwise, you risk becoming only a superficial follower of the topic like most of the mainstream media.) Other articles and websites on global warming are plentiful. Here are a number that I have used for reference in my own research for interviews on the subject. An informed populace is necessary on this topic to prevent catastrophic changes to our way of life, not from man’s influence on climate, but rather from the influence of politicians who seek to redistribute wealth, eliminate many of our freedoms, sentence poor countries to endless poverty through an inability to develop basic necessities like electricity, and truly change life as we currently know it in the free world.
