DETROIT, MI — An Eastpointe father is accused of plotting the murder of his wife and two children for more than half a year. Eastpointe police received a call from 37-year-old Christie Fradeneck’s sister Monday asking they check on her. The sister couldn’t reach Christie Fradenenck all day.
Police arrived to the family home on Cushing south of Nine Mile in Eastpointe about 7 p.m. Monday. It was 38-year-old Timothy Fradeneck who answered the door. “He advised the officer that his family was dead,” an investigator for the Eastpointe Police Department said at Timothy Fradeneck’s arraignment Wednesday. “And he had strangled them, pointing out the USB (computer) cable he used. He said he’s “secretly planned the murders since August 2014. Dead in side were 37-year-old Chrsitie Fradeneck, 2-year-old Celeste and 8-year-old Timothy.
Fradeneck, who appeared in court wearing a jail suit with wild hair, said little during the hearing.
