Ex-Flint Manager In Court

The man who served as Flint’s Emergency Manager during the city’s water crises is due in court today.

68 year old Gerald Ambrose has been charged with misconduct in office and willful neglect of duty in connection with the Flint water crises.

He waived his right to a preliminary examination on the charges last January, but the case against him has been pretty much put on hold since that time.

Today’s court appearance is a pre-trial hearing. Ambrose was one of two EM’s appointed by the governor to run Flint when the city was broke.
