The latest tally of ratification voting by GM workers shows the proposed contract between the UAW and GM is passing.
UAW local 14 at Toledo Transmission, 1134 yes, 282 no.
Local 1853 in Tennessee, 16 73 no, 16-66 yes.
Local 1097, Rochester NY, 526 no, 110 yes.
Local 160 at the Warren Tech Center, 883 yes, 120 no.
Local 668 in Saginaw, 75 percent say yes.
The UAW says 54 percent of production workers and
73 percent of skilled trades have voted to approve the contract.
Yet to report are the largest plants, in Arlington, Texas, Flint, and Ft. Wayne.
