Crumbleys Appear in Court; Fieger Takes Fire For Wrongfully Naming Former Oxford Dean in Suit

DETROIT, December 15, 2021 ~ James and Jennifer Crumbley appeared in a preliminary court hearing Tuesday as part of the involuntary manslaughter charges levied against them.

The volume of discovery in this case is staggering,” said Oakland County Prosecutor Karen McDonald. “We anticipate being ready to present the preliminary exam in February.

Meanwhile, Attorney Geoffrey Fieger is under fire after wrongly naming a former Oxford High dean in his $100 million civil suit against the district.  The wrongfully-named dean has reported receiving death threats. 

All this while politicians and school administrators work through efforts to help ease the mental strain of the shootings on districts across the state.
