WASHINGTON DC, June 24, 2022 ~ The US Supreme Court has overturned Roe v. Wade, the landmark 1973 case which allowed pregnant women the right to an abortion, in a 6-3 majority.

Now, state governments are to determine abortion’s legality within their borders, and how many weeks into pregnancy terminations will be allowed, if at all.

The leadup to the decision, which has been the most watched Supreme Court case in decades, had Republican-appointed justices standing on the grounds that the right to end a pregnancy was not found in the text of the Constitution.

I will continue to be pro-choice until I die, but on the law, the Roe v. Wade decision was not accurately decided in 1973,” said Roshini Rajkumar on 760 WJR‘s “All Talk with Tom Jordan and Kevin Dietz.”
