DETROIT, June 12, 2023 ~ Another top golfer joins the lineup for the fifth-annual Rocket Mortgage Classic.
Two-time major golf championship winner Justin Thomas recently committed to play in the golf tournament June 27 – July 2 at the Detroit Golf Club. The tournament now features six golfers who are in the top 25 of the Official World Golf Ranking.
Thomas’s professional career began in 2013, with 2017 being his breakout year when he won five PGA Tour events and the FedEx Cup Championship. He won the PGA Championship in 2017 and 2022, and has won 15 PGA TOUR events overall.

(CONTINUED) Thomas will make his Rocket Mortgage Classic debut this summer, currently 15th in the Official World Golf Ranking. Other top 25 players in the tournament Max Homa (7), Tony Finau (12), Collin Morikawa (18), Tom Kim (21) and Keegan Bradley (24).
The majority of the tournament’s 156-player field will be confirmed as final on Friday, June 23. Four players will earn entry through an open qualifier on Monday, June 26, shortly before the beginning of the tournament.
