“Focus with Paul W. Smith” Launches With All-Star Lineup

June 20, 2023 ~ After nearly 30 years speaking to an awakening Detroit, 760 WJR‘s Paul W. Smith is now officially a voice for Motor City afternoons.

Focus with Paul W. Smith” launched Tuesday at the Capital Grille in Troy, featuring a slate of Michigan political and business leaders. The new show for Smith will air from Noon to 2:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

The change was made to give Smith a much needed morning rest after decades of being the moring voice of Detroit.

I slept in until 8 a.m. for the first time in over 50 years,” Smith said during the broadcast.

Focus” is a live and local show that goes in-depth with politicians, business and community leaders, entrepreneurs, and entertainers for longform, in-depth conversations on topics beyond the headlines.
