August 3, 2022 ~ Republican Gubernatorial Candidate Tudor Dixon talks to Paul W. about her Tuesday primary win and says she will work hard to become the state’s next governor.
(CONTINUED)Friday, Dixon received an endorsement from former President Donald Trump, which may have helped her get the 41% of the 19% counted votes, when the Associated Press called the race in Dixon’s favor.
Now out of the primary, Dixon faces incumbent Governor Gretchen Whitmer, who is aiming for reelection following a first term dense with criticism over economic lows, loss of small businesses, falling education performances, and controversial handling of the coronavirus pandemic.
“This goes beyond COVID, because the way she treated our businesses, she continues to do that today…and you now see our population declining,” said Dixon. “I don’t think she understands. She doesn’t seem to understand the private sector and she certainly doesn’t seem to understand how her personal decisions are affecting the economy of the entire state and everyone’s lives.”
