DETROIT, May 18, 2023 ~ International soccer scores a goal again in Detroit for the first time in six years!
This week, 313 Presents announced they will host a pre-season match between the English Premier League Club, Crystal Palace Football Club, and LaLiga’s Sevilla Football Club. The professional soccer match will take place at 7 p.m., July 30 at Comerica Park.
In July 2017, Comerica Park hosted its first-ever soccer match between AS Roma of the Italian Serie A League against Paris Saint-Germain of France’s Ligue 1 in the 2017 International Champions Cup tournament.

(CONTINUED) London-based Crystal Palace is currently placed 12th in the English Premier League, according to a press release from 313 Presents. Sevilla FC is one of Spain’s big 6 LaLiga clubs and the second oldest club in the country, forming in 1890.
“We are thrilled to have international soccer return to Comerica Park for a match between two elite football clubs,” said President of 313 Presents Howard Handler. “This match-up will provide metro Detroit’s soccer fans a unique opportunity to watch their favorite European clubs play once again in person.”
Ticket sales will be made available at a later date.
