DETROIT, MI — City officials plan to launch a program to allow residents to file complaints about infrastructure through their cellphones.Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan and Chief Information Officer Beth Niblock plan to unveil the “Improve Detroit” smartphone application in a Wednesday press conference.
The application will allow residents to report “issues such as potholes, broken water mains, malfunctioning traffic signals and more from their smartphone.” The announcement is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. Wednesday.
