Monroe police are investigating the sexual assault of a a 10-year-old girl in the women’s bathroom of the Salvation Army store in Frenchtown Township, the incident happened Wednesday.
According to police, the girl was using the bathroom when an unknown man walked in and assaulted her. The man is described as white, middle-aged and about 5 feet 10 inches tall with a medium build. He had a beard or dirty face and possibly a crooked nose. He was wearing a baseball cap, a short cut jean coat, dirty blue jeans and brown or black shoes.
