Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy revealed during a press conference this morning the result of her investigations in two separate cases involving alleged police brutality. Criminal charges will be filed against fired Inkster police officer William Melendez for assaulting Floyd Dent. There are four charges in all. Meantime, all charges against Dent will be dropped.
However, no charges will be filled against the officers involved in the case of Andrew Jackson, Jr. Jackson carjacked a woman and her two grandchildren. Worthy said it was “clear he was a felon attempting to flee.”
